On agreeing a date and time mutually between Glitzy Girls Parties * UK and the Parent: (N.B. - please make any telephone enquiries between 10.00am and 8.00pm)
1) A confirmation email / letter will be despatched with an accompanying booking form - this is to be completed and returned to Glitzy Girls with a deposit within 7 days maxiumum to secure the party date.
If a deposit and form are not received, Glitzy Girls reserves the right to cancel the party, to allow other customers to book the date. I will email or write if this is the case.
If you do cancel your party, the deposit is none refundable, If I need to cancel (which has never happened) you will receive a refund of your deposit.
N.B Due to the high demand in dates, I am unable to 'pencil in' a date, until a parent has decided whether they definately wish to book a party. I can only enter in my diary your party once a date, time, package and price has been agreed.
Balances are payable on the day of the party, by cash - before I set up the "mini salon". I supply my own table and chairs.
Prices are charged per child. The minimum number of children I cater for is 8 - up to a travel distance of 20 miles. If less children attend the party on the date - the minimum charge of 8 will still apply.
For distances travelled over 20 miles (where I charge extra for travel time and petrol). If less numbers turn up on the day - the minimum charge of the agreed number attending the party will still apply.
2) Glitzy Girls are PL Insured for 1,000,000 to cover accidents from product spillage only - Glitzy Girls are not responsible for any hazards or health & safety issues, in a customer's home, created/caused by the customer, to the customer or to the party guests.
3) Bookings are taken under the consideration that parents (including the guest children's parents) know that their children are going to be wearing cosmetic products - make up and nail polish, and therefore are agreeing that their children do not have skin infections, highly sensitive skin or any other allergies - If children have conditions which may effect them - they must write a note as a disclaimer or not allow the child to have a treatment. Glitzy Girls will not be responsible for any contra-actions to products used.
Jewellery craft parties do not use any chemical or skin reacting products, however, there are tools used at the party, only by an adult with Glitzy Girls Parties.
4) All Glitzy Girls Parties are packaged according to age group. Please ensure that guests for that particular party are within the specified age group as indicated in price list and party packages.
5) Please note that Glitzy Girls is hired for the sole purpose of a pamper party or jewellery crafting or other parties mentioned in my price and packages. As a beauty therapist, hair wrap artist, and jewellery craft artist my service does not included playing party games or providing karaoke.
For pamper / hair wrap parties, however, I do supply acrylic (plastic) beads and embroidery silks for children to create a necklace or friendship bracelet.... these beads are not the same material used in the main jewellery craft parties.
6) Glitzy Girls Parties travel to surrounding areas within a maximum of a 35 mile radius of Lichfield, Staffordshire....Please note that travel time and expenses may be incurred for any distance over 20 miles, depending on the type of party package and numbers of children attending - or extra children can be catered for ... this will be quoted and agreed with the parent - however many children attend the party on the day (due to budgeting and minimum charges expected on the day) - this charge will still be applied. Extra children who attend the party, not originally agreed, will be charged extra per head.
