While we are waiting?
Most parent's question is...
What do the other girls do while they are waiting for their make up / nails / hair wraps?
Easy.
I have found that in the majority of my parties, the girls will queue up whilst expressing an interest in the nail polishes and make up which I bring along.
Every party and every child is different, but since doing these parties, the children behave in a much more mature way, and don't tend to do the "running riot round the house".
Most parents will just put on the music of the moment on a cd player for the girls to dance to. If a more party atmosphere is required, then the mini disco with the flashy lights can be requested (for an extra charge)
However, more often than not, the girls are more than happy to form an orderly queue, chatting to each other and to me, which is far more sociable.
The order in which I conduct the nails and make up is....I do each girls nails and nail art first, then I do their make up, so each girl isn't waiting to long to receive a treatment.
The order of guests is always left to the birthday girl (they're usually the ones in charge)
