Was founded in February 2004, by Barbara Valladolid, a qualified Make Up Artist and Manicurist since 2000, a Jewellery Craft Artist and since 1989 and Hair Wrap Artist since 2006 and now trained in the art of Perfume Making (how unique is that!!)
Based on these skills and loads of enquiries from many of her clients, Glitzy Girls was then established for children aged between the ages of 5 and 16 years old who require a unique and fun time party for their birthday or special occasion.
Barbara, also a qualified fitness instructor since 1995 who has a wealth of experience in fitness coaching youngsters and is also young at heart herself. She also is a qualified Yogabugs instructor and teaches in nurseries and primary schools within the Lichfield and surrounding areas.
Having three children of her own, two girls and a boy, parties became easier to organise for their friends, although other ideas have been thrown into the business as it has expanded ever since.
Barbara then trained to do hair wrapping and friendships bracelets and finally introduced fairy costumes for the very young lady aged 4 to 7 years, who are able to dress up and have glittery nails and make up appropriate to their age group.
These parties have proved to be great fun and full of enjoyment for the children and Glitzy Girls grows from strength to strength.
Located in Lichfield, Glitzy Girls also covers the following areas : Abbots Bromley, Alrewas, Brownhills, Burntwood, Burton on Trent, Cannock, Cheslyn Hay, Heath Hayes, Kings Bromley, Yoxall, Solihull, Stafford, Sutton Coldfield, Swadlincote, Tamworth, Whittington (other areas unmentioned within a 30 mile radius from Lichfield)
For parents peace of mind Barbara holds a level 2 NVQ beauty certificates, City and Guilds 2 Jewellery and Bead Crafting, RSA/YMCA Fitness Coaching and is CRB (policed checked) and PL Insured.

In order to encourage saving paper I now email booking forms and confirmation letters where possible.
Information to parents is given (usually via telephone call or email) regarding availablity and costs of parties - a booking is not concrete without sending a confirmation letter from me - with the agreed time and dates, and the receipt of a completed booking form accompanied with a deposit from the parents to secure the booking.
**To avoid disappointment and reduce cancellations, a non refundable booking deposit of £20.00 is required within 5 days of the telephone reservation.** Due to the high demand for weekend bookings this makes the booking system fair for genuine reservations.

I keep my prices very affordable, whilst offering good value for money.
As a parent, myself, I appreciate that not only do you need to book an entertainer, but there is the added expense of venues, party food, party loot bags, the cake plus the little one's present. With this in mind, I try to keep my prices fair and reasonable, including time and travel costs.
